Christian Edifier exists to edify. To edify Biblically speaking is to tell the truth, to represent the Scripture factually and correctly.
The only method of interpretation that correctly lines up with the unfolding drama of redemption is the "Normal Literal Method" which results is the interpretation of Scripture as the dispensational pre tribulation rapture pre millennial second coming view of Scripture. It allows the Scripture to speak for itself, the Bible - Nothing More, Nothing Less, and Nothing Else.
Nothing More means to not allow extra Biblical writings to stand as Scripture such as the apocrypha. Nothing Less means that the recognized 66 books of the Bible should not be reduced and Nothing Else (the wrong interpretation) means to defend the Normal Literal Method which leads to a dispensational pre-trib-rapture, pre-millennial-second coming understanding of God's word.
Therefore true "Edification" is a natural result of teaching God's word by using the correct method which results in the correct interpretation. Enjoy
